case studies is a Berlin-based textile studio for contemporary knitting, founded by Laura Krauthausen and Konstantin Laschkow. Each project begins with an almost obsessive process of research, material experimentation and color analysis. From it emerges a world of fluid gradients and patterns that shift with light and perspective. Alongside its own limited editions, the studio creates custom knit upholstery and develops knitted textiles with brands and design studios such as Herman Miller, Santoni and Trippen.
