On behalf of the vintage store OIB, the iconic mid-century ‘Gondola’ sofa by US designer Adrian Pearsall has been reupholstered in a textile of the new ‘Oscillation’ series. The linear patterns seem to overlay the furniture, constantly changing and in flux, shifting with the viewer’s perspective and the incidence of light.

Infused with organic elements reminiscent of water and natural wood, the piece achieves a grounded and natural aesthetic. Inspired by the vintage character of the original object, the dynamic graphic pattern is integrated with bold retro colors, resulting in an exciting new piece.

The cover is made from soft Italian merino yarn, high-quality viscose, and a stable PES filament. In the back cushions, a special hairy yarn is used to create a sophisticated sheen and softness.
